GATAD2B-associated neurodevelopmental disorder (GAND) is a syndrome characterized, in part, by intellectual disability, low muscle tone, and limited speech. Receiving a diagnosis of a GATAD2B mutation can seem overwhelming, but know that you are not alone. Helping Hands for GAND is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity which exists to support individuals and families affected by GATAD2B-associated neurodevelopmental disorder (GAND), to increase awareness, and to work toward research and treatment opportunities to enrich the lives of those with this rare genetic condition.  If you know someone with a pathological GATAD2B variant, or if you are a researcher with an interest in GAND or other disorders of the NuRD complex, we want to hear from you!
